Martin Henke

MartGerman Martin Henke spent more than half of his life abroad on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. As a Managing Hotel Director and Head of a Diving Base Chain he specialized on sustainable hotel concepts and diving tourism. He is an experienced free and monofin diver, holds the Technical Dive Master Brevet, successfully trained about 500 new divers with more than 1000 underwater hours. Frank Scharmann

Frank Scharmann is an industrial product designer and mechanical engineer. His company Cabrito Consulting in Germany is managing partner of CalamarPark providing the legal infrastructure.

Alan A. Allen

Alan A. Allen retired in 2020 as a world-renowned emergency response coordinator and researcher, dealing with marine pollution incidents in nearly 50 countries. As an aquanaut he spent weeks at a time in the Hydrolab underwater habitat and he is a valuable consultant to CalamarPark.

Nursel Arslan

NurselNursel Arslan is an artworker from Hamburg, Germany, and our PR agent for the oceans. She is well qualified for this position through years of commitment in the dive centers of IWM as a diving instructor and co-developer of the Moonwalk‘ program. She is a natural born creative, socially competent and therefore our contact to the world’s press. Currently she lives in London, UK.

Benjamin Kuch

BenjaminBenjamin is diving instructor, technical- and rebreather diver. He holds a MSc in computer science and a PhD in engineering. During his master thesis he focused on measurement of physiological parameters of apnea divers. In his PhD his research topics were decompression algorithms, embedded systems for underwater applications and underwater navigation. Several years he worked as R&D engineer for dive computers, DPV and rebreather development. He now lives in Austria.

Rob Bryan – Technical and Business Advisor.

Rob worked for the US habitat ‘Aquarius’ and has extensive experience as a saturation technician in the commercial diving industry. He has rebuilt 8-man saturation systems, several bell bounce systems and a larger number of deck decompression chambers. He was highly experienced in all phases of marine tourism, and  founder of “Blue Heart of the Planet”, a public benefit corp for ocean conservation/restoration and sustainability. He held Master Degrees in Business (MBA) and Project Management (MPM) as well as a Bachelor in Technical Management (BSTM). He lived in Boulder, Colorado. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2021.
